   Dr. Joseph Nicholas Heinen "Nick" is a board certified Family Practioner who has vast experience working in the healthcare industry.  He is currently Medical Director of a large corporate onsite medical clinic where he oversees over 3000 covered lives.  He also directs a correctional and immigration detention facility in South Louisiana.  Dr. Heinen also is Medical Director of a long term acute care hospital onsite physician group in the Lafayette area.   He has 3 brothers who are also practicing Physicians working closely with him to improve the Healthcare industry.  Together they own and operate multiple healthcare service lines.       Dr Heinen uses strategies to motivate his patients to take control of their health.  He believes that by treating a person with compassion and respect and taking the time to explain to his patients their health they will trust him to be their guide to a healthier life.
